Breaks, ruptures, cracks, fractures.
They shape our lives and our world.
Where do we end up when we don't think of them in terms of scientific discipline or a specific method, but focus exclusively on the phenomenon itself?
Where do we end up if we meander with open senses and alert body and mind, exploring the phenomenon from less familiar perspectives?
Where do we end up when we leave our scientific comfort zones and rigorous plans and take the risk of never finding new shores or an interested audience?

Broken bodies
The skin tightens, breathing becomes shallow, the back hunches at the thought of cut skin, torn hair, broken bones, twisted joints, shredded organs. The fear of suffering pain, of losing control over one's own physicality, of not being able to protect the bodies of loved ones. Unbearable twists and turns take over the mind.
How do we endure images that should not be, yet are?
How do we engage with broken bodies without something inside us also breaking?
How can wounds bring joy?
